Puneet Superstar was born as Prakash Kumar [1] at Yashoda Hospital in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh. He attended D.A.V Public School, Sahibabad, Ghaziabad. However, he couldn’t complete his schooling due to financial constraints. In an interview, he revealed that he was not permitted to sit for his 12th-class examination as he failed to pay his examination fees on time. [2]

Career
Before becoming a social media star, Puneet worked in a company in Ghaziabad, where his earning was Rs 10,000 per month. In 2015, he lost his job and didn’t get another job for 1-2 months. Later, he started making lip-sync videos on TikTok on the recommendation of one of his cousins. However, he didn’t get many views on his videos, but he still kept on posting videos for almost six months. After some time, one of his videos got viral on which he got 1300 views and 96 likes. This motivated him to make more videos. He then started making comic videos based on the events of daily life, which received a positive response from the viewers. His video ‘Apne maa baap ke tukdo pe palke so jaunga’ was one of his most liked videos that later proved to be the breakthrough of his career. Many Bollywood stars such as Anupam Kher and Anil Kapoor and various social media stars later made lip-sync using this video.
